UK SHIPPING ONLY

Please note: due to complications in a post-Brexit world we are unable to post items outwith the UK. We would advise all potential customers to contact Mailboxes, Pack & Send Or Aardvark (see contact details below) to discuss shipping options prior to purchase. This may change once regulations have been settled but until then WE ARE UNABLE TO SHIP OVERSEAS.

 

Packing & Postage Service

We offer an in-house packing and posting service. If you require this service, please find below the following shipping information. If you wish to proceed with our service, please arrange to settle your invoice first, once settled we can add you to our packing list, when packed you will receive a quotation with your packing and shipping costs. Once your packing and shipping costs are settled we can arrange to ship your items. PLEASE ALLOW 7 – 10 WORKING DAYS FROM DAY OF REQUESTING PACKING & SHIPPING TO RECEIVING YOUR SHIPPING QUOTE.

Our prices start from £10.00.

  • Jiffy bag - £10.00
  • Boxes start from - £16.50

Shipping Costs*

Parcel Force – 48 Hour Service (UK SHIPPING ONLY) examples prices:

  • Up to 2kg, including £16.50 (minimum packing fee) & VAT - £33.72
  • From 2kg to 4.99kg, including £16.50 & VAT - £34.74

Royal Mail – Signed for Services Only (UK SHIPPING ONLY) example prices:

  • Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed no more than 2kg, including £16.50 (minimum packing fee) - £22.36
  • Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed based on a up to 10KG - Combined cost - £26.36
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery with £750 compensation cover, no more than 500g, shipping as a small parcel and including a minimum packing fee of £16.50. Packing & shipping combined - £31.77

*these are example prices. Prices are subject to change. Prices vary and are based on the weight of your packed parcel and the time it takes to pack the items purchased.

We are unable to advise actual costs by just looking at an item. Costs are based on the time it takes to pack items and the weight of the items once packed.

 

Shipping Restrictions For Certain Items

Please read the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION when shipping the following within the UK & International:

Military - UK
We can pack and ship items of militaria within the UK but no insurance cover will be offered by either Royal Mail or Parcel Force as these items can be classed as Prohibited & Restricted as part of the UK shipping regulations. SHIPPING WILL BE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. If in the unfortunate event your items are either lost and or destroyed in transit there will be no come back through Taylors Auctions. (This is a very rare occurrence but we have to make you aware).

Military - International
We are unable to ship items out with the UK due to the restrictions upheld by Royal Mail and Parcel Force. Please find below contact details of couriers that can arrange this on your behalf.

Whisky & Other Alcoholic Beverages - UK SHIPPING ONLY 
Royal Mail and Parcel Force both have restrictions when shipping alcohol. The volume cannot exceed 1 litre and no more than 2 litres can be shipped in any one box. For alternative shipping see below.

Porcelain, Paintings & Any Items of Fragile Nature - UK SHIPPING ONLY
We would recommending using one of our recommended couriers as listed below. In some occasions we may be able to pack and ship (UK ONLY) but this is based on individual items. Certain things will be checked before a decision is made to pack an item, the condition of the item(s), the fragile nature of the item(s) and the ability we have to pack the item(s). If there is an item(s) of interest to you please get in touch before the auction and we will be happy to discuss this with you.

Jewellery, Toys & Books - UK SHIPPING ONLY
Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service covers up to £2,500*. Parcel Force UK shipments offers up to £100.00 compensation cover (UK only).

*price for shipping are dependent on the weight of your item.

Coins, Bank Notes & Stamps - UK SHIPPING ONLY
We can pack and ship items within the UK Only but no insurance cover will be offered. Royal Mail & Parcel Force do not offer insurance cover for items of this nature.

Furniture
We do not pack Furniture of all size for posting & advise all clients to arrange alternative transport via Couriers below.
